Reading this makes me think of my mom as a single-parent. My brother is 10 years old now but she's already worrying if he's ever left alone at home. My other brother is in college far away from home and I'm here in Canada. Thank you for sharing this vulnerability Lisa, you made me understand my mom's clinginess better :D
