Instagram Is the Worst Place to Go When You’re Feeling down — Here’s Why
I learned it the hard way
Just like many people out there — I, too, have a hate & love relationship with Instagram. It’s nothing new.
Some days you feel comfortable being on it. Other days, you’re just sick to death that you end up uninstalling it.
But here’s the toxic cycle I’ve seen many people having (including me).
It doesn’t take much time until they install it again. Either to just “check-up” on people’s life or they got something new to show to their friends.
Using the platform to share your life isn’t necessarily the problem.
It’s the lack of control that most people have around it. It makes them forget that, at the end of the day, it’s just social media.
They consume too much content without even thinking. All those junks become their addiction. These pile up to the point they don’t know how to get out of the rabbit hole.
I’m not ashamed to admit that I used to be one of those people who let social media control my life.
I learned it the hard way. When things go south in real life, Instagram is the worst place you could go to.
