For someone who never had a father, this makes me cry. Your kid is very lucky.

We both felt good, and my words were honest and true. I could have moaned about taxes, politics, world affairs, the climate catastrophe, etc., but to what end? The world will give her enough rainy days; I’m keeping her skies blue as long as possible.
